Carlos Manuel Durán Hernández
Editor and writer

Born and raised in the streets of the urban monster of Mexico City, which, due to technicalities (or practicalities), his parents sent him to the civil registry of a small town in the Sierra de Puebla, a state he now proudly carries on his passport and in conversation (what part of Mexico are you from?). With a fierce interest in books, music and science (that's what they say when you don't have many toys), he began his first writings in high school guided by the Mexican poet Daniel Téllez (1). In his search for music and letters, his future led him to pursue his high school studies at the school of sciences and humanities on the south side of the city, where philosophy appears on the road as an abject, mysterious and free wasteland. The vigor of his youth led him to the path of techne (2), pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at UNAM and a master's degree in catalysis in collaboration with the University of Malaga. He actively participated in literary forums, philosophy and poetry workshops.
